"Wisdom of the all Mighty Polar Bear"
"We wander in the far North, looking for a new home that has yet to evaporate into thin air.
We are the Great, Mighty Polar Bear living on the far North's Tundra.
We once roamed for many hundreds of miles - in harmony and peace.
We hunted off the ice caps for seals and many other fish species. We are forced to hunt solely on the land as our icecaps have melted away.
We don't see any seals or fish on the land.
Now, we are standing in a schoolyard, a place of learning and teaching. They teach the children to respect the environment and all living creatures, so why has my home melted away?
We continue to dig and dig, but nothing! There are no seals and fish under this land. Now What? What will we feed our young cubs? How long can we survive without food?
Our home and way of life are vanishing at a point of no return - as will our existence. We feel hot in this new place.
Oh, Mighty Creator, help us survive.
More importantly, let humanity see what they are doing to Mother Earth - our home, survival, and existence as the Great Mighty Polar Bears."

"Spirit of the All Mighty Polar Bear" 21"x14.5"
"The Creation of the Spirit of the Polar Bear came to me through a dream I had back in 2007. I saw a mother polar bear in a schoolyard with her two cubs. When I awoke, I felt that was an unusual dream until that night, I saw an elder talking about the erosion of the icecaps that are putting the polar bears at risk of extinction.
I knew I had to make a polar bear, so I did. Then, while I was attending a pow-wow, two elders told me the reason I had the dream in a schoolyard was that the polar bear wanted me to educate people about how its species is at risk of extinction."
Place your new art piece in a window, wall, or where the energy feels right. Be careful not to put it up against anything sharp that could cut the sinew. I always tell people that art will tell you where it likes to be.
